Job Description
A lead abatement worker specializes in removing lead-based paint and other materials on surfaces such as ceilings and walls. Their responsibilities include conducting initial assessments to create action plans, preparing protective gear and cleaning supplies, operating high-pressure sprayers and sandblasters, and safely discarding materials. Aside from physical work, a lead abatement worker usually has to climb up high places, maintain records, and train new workers. Moreover, they typically work in a team setting, which requires an active communication line for a safe and efficient workflow.
The Abatement Supervisor Worker is responsible for working with asbestos, mold, lead and / or other Regulated Waste removals while adhering to company policies and procedures regarding remediation. The individual will participate in industry training, update certifications, and maintain fitness levels as required for the environmental industry. Other qualifications and responsibilities might arise as deemed necessary by circumstances.
Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Ensures completion of projects are done efficiently observing and complying with all safety and project rules, including wearing required personal safety equipment and following all hazardous waste handling guidelines.
2. Ensures State and Federal asbestos regulations are followed.
3. Removes asbestos or lead from surfaces, using hand or power tools such as scrapers, vacuums, or high-pressure sprayers.
4. Build containment areas prior to beginning abatement or decontamination work including assembly of temporary equipment or structures.
8. Drive company vehicles to/from job sites. Daily inventory of company vehicles during load and offload; maintain cleanliness of vehicles.
9. Ensures job sites are left clean of debris and trash, ready for the next subcontractors or reoccupation of homeowner.
10. Performs other duties as required.

Abatement Supervisor Worker Job Requirements:
· Required to take a current physical and respiratory fit test.
· Must be able to read, write and speak English; Bilingual Spanish preferred.
· Abatement Supervisor Workers license is preferred.
· Must sent a resume.
· Demonstrated ability to communicate and handle sensitive/confidential information and maintain the highest degree of ethical business standards and conduct including in all business and customer-related matters.
· Willingness and ability to work a non-standard work schedule and occasional overtime.
· Valid Driver’s License in good standing.
